Plasma Pen

Our latest innovative procedure, the Plasma Pen is a revolutionary new way to brighten the skin while improving the appearance of lines, wrinkles, and skin sagging. Rejuvenate virtually any area of your skin with the non-surgical Plasma Pen procedure and experience long-lasting results.

How The Plasma Pen Works

Fibroblast is fairly new to the beauty industry here in the U.S. but has been popular for many years in Europe. The device that is used is FDA approved and a precisely accurate handheld device.

Using a continuous direct energy source, the Plasma Pen ionizes nitrogen & oxygen in the air to create a plasma gas. This plasma gas is sustained by the unique fingertip and on-demand control of plasma the device offers. The plasma flash transfers to the skin with absolute precision and does not harm any of the surrounding tissue. The first and most immediate effect is delivered to the outer layer of the epidermis where we create external micro-traumas which immediately contracts and tightens the skin. This thermal disruption later causes excess skin to dry superficially into tiny crusts which fall off in the form of tiny flakes within a matter of days.

Is the Plasma Pen Treatment Painful?

Plasma Pen is mild to moderately uncomfortable. Everyone’s pain level is different and some areas of the body are more sensitive than others. Numbing cream is helpful in reducing the discomfort during treatment.

Is there downtime after Plasma Pen Treatment?

Yes, There will be tiny carbon crusts similar to little polka dots on and around the treated area that will generally last 7-10 days before naturally lifting and falling off, this will then reveal new pink skin underneath. Swelling is common when treating the eye area and is to be expected for a few days following especially when treating the upper eyelid. To avoid any serious side effects such as hyperpigmentation, it is crucial to follow the aftercare recommendations given to you by your technician.

How much does Plasma Pen cost?

Pricing varies depending on your treatment area.

How long will it be before I see results?

An immediate tightening will be seen with the plasma pen. Once healing has taken place you will see an improvement in skin condition and tone.
Collagen production and skin tightening gets progressively better over 10-24 weeks and continues to improve up to a year later.

Please note: Although the device has the word “Plasma” in its name, it is a completely separate service from Platelet Rich Plasma. The Plasma Pen by Louise Walsh International does not involve treatment using blood plasma.
