Black Mountain in Las Vegas is a small unincorporated town in Clark County. It’s located about 20 miles northeast of Las Vegas and has an elevation of 2,673 feet. The area was first settled by 19th-century prospectors who were looking for gold. Today the community is primarily residential with many older homes that are nestled among trees and other natural vegetation.
